Frequently Asked Questions

What is the booking process?


Following your initial enquiry, I will arrange a mutually convenient time to visit you and your pets. We can discuss any questions that you might have and it will give me chance to get to know their likes and dislikes. If you are happy to book in with me, I will complete the pet sitting forms. If possible you can give me a set of keys at the initial meeting or drop them off at my house at your convenience.


Can you visit my cat every other day whilst I am away?


No sorry, your cat is my priority, if they became unwell I would like to get them medical attention as soon as possible. For peace of mind I would need to visit them daily.


Can I check on my pets whilst I am away?


Yes of course, contact me any time and I will reply as soon as possible. If you require daily updates then I can send them via email or WhatsApp. I do not update any social media pages for security, if agreed by yourself I would love to put photos of your furry members on my own website and Facebook after the booking has finished.


What are your payment arrangements?


Full payment to be made no later than 2 days before you go away via bank transfer or cash.


What happens if my pet is sick?


I will take your furry friend to your nominated vet or the closest vet in an emergency and I will contact you immediately on the number you provided at the initial consultation.


Will you keep my keys secure?


Yes, your property security is paramount, your keys will be stored in my home safe whilst not in use and will never be stored together with your contact details.


Who provides the food for my pet while I am away?


All food, cat litter, bedding and necessary items are to be supplied by yourself. I will of course buy extra supplies if something ran out when you are away and you can reimburse me upon your return.


What is your cancellation policy?


If you need to cancel your booking please let me know as soon as possible, I will refund any payments that you have made.
